It is built for organizers who already have their own audience, such as families, members and congregations, and want low, predictable fees.

Is Eventfold cheaper than Eventbrite for a PTA fundraiser?
In the examples above, yes. Eventfold's flat 75¢ doesn't grow with the ticket price, while Eventbrite's percentage does.
Who pays the fees?
On Eventfold, buyers pay the fee and see the total before they pay. Eventbrite also charges buyers by default, and lets organizers absorb the fees instead.
Do we need a Stripe account?
Yes. Eventfold pays out through Stripe, so you need a Stripe account to receive money from paid events. Free events don't need one.
