Platform fees on three typical events
These figures are the platform's own per-ticket fee for paid tickets. Card processing is extra on both (about 2.9% + 30¢ through Stripe) and is not included below.

Ticket Tailor's rates are from its pricing page as of October 14, 2026: $0.60 per ticket pay as you go, and prepaid credits from $0.22 per ticket (the lowest rate needs a larger credit purchase, with a 500-credit minimum). Eventfold charges 75¢ per paid ticket. Free tickets cost nothing on Eventfold, and Ticket Tailor lists no fees for up to 5,000 free tickets a year. Try your own numbers in the fee calculator.
When Eventfold is the better fit
- Nothing to prepay. There are no credits to buy ahead of time and no monthly fee. You pay nothing until a buyer pays.
- The organizer keeps the full ticket price. The 75¢ fee and card processing are added at checkout and shown to the buyer before they pay.
- Built for community events. Family passes with names on the party roster, access codes for members-only events, and QR check-in from a phone camera are part of every event.
- Stripe payouts. Money goes to your own Stripe account.
When Ticket Tailor is the better fit
If you sell a steady volume of tickets and can buy credits in bulk, Ticket Tailor's per-ticket rate is lower than Eventfold's. Ticket Tailor also advertises a 50% discount on its fees for registered charities, and it is an established product with a longer track record and a wider set of integrations. Eventfold launched in October 2026, so it has a smaller audience and fewer integrations. It is built for organizers who already have their own audience of families and members.

Is Eventfold cheaper than Ticket Tailor?
Not on the platform fee: Ticket Tailor's published rates are lower than 75¢. Eventfold's advantage is that nothing is prepaid and the buyer, not the organizer, pays the fee.
Do we need a Stripe account?
Yes, for paid events. Eventfold pays out through Stripe. Free events don't need one.
